I don’t need to tell you that we haven’t seen much of Mr. Sunshine the past few weeks.  But the thing is, we really do need him!

Winter can be gray and dreary causing not only fog outside the window, but a foggy mind, too.

Experts say vitamin D is an essential mood booster and keeps our body healthy.  So, if the sun continues to hide its face behind gray skies, here are a few ways to get more vitamin D and make the best of the remaining winter days.

Eat more:     Eggs (the yolks)
                    Tuna
                    Swiss Cheese
                    Salmon
                    Fortified Orange Juice or Milk

And, our personal favorite –  go somewhere sunny!  Spring Break is coming up.  Even if you can only get away for a day or two, check the local weather of weekend destinations, and make a run for the sun!
