It’s barely beyond Halloween, yet Hallmark has begun their Christmas parade of movies, retailers are pushing the holiday merchandise, and many folks are contemplating the latest “trim a tree from the ceiling” trend.

For the next couple of weeks, we’ll look at a quick to-do list and timeframe to make the days leading up to the BIG DAY less stressful.

Step 1:  Make a list – and yes, it is best to check it twice.

Here are the items to consider early:

Gifts – Make a list of who is to receive a gift.  Note any gifts already purchased for each person.  Make a list of what you want to buy for those names who have no gifts noted.
*Update your own Amazon/Etsy etc. wish list.
*Factor in waiting for Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals.
     *Review/set a budget.

Gift Wrap-  Watch for sales and don’t discount the Dollar Tree for creative boxes and containers that can be dressed up.

Greeting Cards-  November is the time to order or print the card that will define the tone of Christmas greetings to friends and family.  If you need names of photographers, give us a call.  We happen to know a few. J

Determine donation/charity projects – Mark your calendar for the dates/deadlines.  Don’t forget Giving Tuesday follows Cyber Monday.

Happy list-making!  Check next week’s blog for ideas to help make your home ready for guests!
