Weekends fill up fast during the month of October.  It’s football and fall celebration time for sure.  But, if you have young children, THIS is the event you don’t want to miss.

Ronald McDonald House is hosting their annual Autumn Children’s Festival at the River Park Saturday and Sunday.

For families with youngsters, this event really can’t be beat.  There are carnival games, pumpkins to paint, face painting, horse rides, and more!  Parking and Admission are free.  You pay for tickets to play and participate in the activities.  Plus, there are super heroes and favorite characters to get pics for the perfect Instagram posts.

The best part – the money from ticket sales goes to support the wonderful work done by Ronald McDonald House.  If you aren’t familiar with the support this organization provides to those in need, you can visit their website to get an idea of the importance of their work.
